  1. The world-famous Colosseum is a monument that must not be missed by anyone in Rome and this express guided tour is the perfect way to see it.
  2. From its imposing façade to its complex interior, the Colosseum, formerly known as the Flavian amphitheatre, is a truly amazing example of Ancient Roman architecture.
    3. You will see the monumental structure as the gladiators did, entering through their exclusive gate. Then look down into the underground corridors where wild beasts were kept before the shows from the second floor of the amphitheatre.
  3. You will learn about its complicated construction, diverse usage and social importance while hearing compelling stories of gladiators and spectators, and of the times when amphitheatre was at its most important.
  4. When you have left the Colosseum your guide will escort you to the archaeological complex of the Forum and Palatine Hill where you can wander through the stunning ruins at your own pace.

LIEU DE RENDEZ-VOUSRendez-vous à l'intérieur du « Colle Oppio Park », devant l'Oppio Caffè Bar. Si vous arrivez en métro, depuis la « station de métro Colosseo », rejoignez la terrasse au-dessus de la station. Marchez sur « Via Nicola Salvi » pendant environ 100 m. Entrez dans le parc et cherchez notre coordinateur tenant un « drapeau blanc » à l'intérieur du « parc Colle Oppio ». Veuillez arriver 25 minutes avant l'heure de début de votre visite.
Une pièce d'identité valide est requise pour entrer dans le Colisée.
INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTES
  • In the case of inclement weather (rain, snow, frost…), the arena floor may be closed off without notice. Entry through the gladiators’ gate will not be affected but access onto the arena floor will be prohibited. In these instances, refunds cannot be provided
  • A copy of ID is required to enter the Colosseum
  • Please wear comfortable walking shoes
  • Operates in all weather conditions – please bring appropriate clothing and water
  • The meeting time can be subject to change. In this case, we will call/text you
  • Aerosols, sharp objects and large backpacks will not be allowed
  • Adult prices apply to all travelers
  • If you are late to arrive at the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour
    • You must be at the meeting point 25 minutes before the departure time
